| (October 13, 2007) |
The Floyd Central Marching Highlanders and Emerald Guard performed at Regionals
at ISU on October 13, 2007.
They were awarded a GOLD.
The competion was close, so this year unfortunately we are not going to
State.
Mr. Yankey is very proud of the band. We have had another great marching season. |

The Floyd Central Marching Highlanders and Emerald Guard performed at the Ben Davis and Salem Invitational on
October 6.
At Ben Davis in Class B, we earned third place.
At Salem in Class B, we earned Best Percussion and Best Music and Second Place.

The Floyd Central Marching Highlanders and Emerald Guard performed at the ISMAA
District contest at Columbus East on September 29.
In Class B (state classes based on 2006-07 school size)
We earned a Gold rating.
WE'RE GOING TO REGIONALS ON OCTOBER 13th!!!

22nd.
In Class B, we earned second place. |

The Floyd Central Marching Highlanders and Emerald Guard performed at the F. J. Reitz Invitational and
at the Paoli Invitational on September 15th.
At F. J. Reitz in Class B, we earned Best Percussion, Best Guard, Best Music, and First Place. At the Paoli Invitational, We received 3rd Place. |
